it's the day after the last day of #the100daychallenge and while i debated taking a break from creating, a friend asked me to make a card. so obviously, i had to oblige!

i think it's quite fitting for me to give this card to myself in celebration of completing #the100dayproject - but i'll also be listing it in the shop in the near future.

i was thinking of card ideas and i wanted to incorporate part of the message from the song along with a new background. i used the cloud stencil from lawn fawn and a variety of distress inks. i'm not entirely sure i'm using the stencil the right way, but i'm pleased with the results.

when i sat down to create today's card, i had the idea to find inspiration from something on my desk. i didn't know if it would be a color scheme or a line design or what, but decided to take a few minutes and just look around to see what spoke to me.

just look at that dimension! it's so great - this is definitely something that i'll be doing more and more in the future. it's just such a fun detail. this is another card that i think would be super cute in a set - full of all different color options. add it to the list!
