it's day 20! each time i hit a day ending in 0 i get excited because that means it's another row completed in my compilation of all 100 cards. i'll reveal the final collage at the very end of the challenge - so for now, let's focus on day 20!

i'm so jazzed about the card today because i had a little help in creating it! well not the actual creating of it, but with suggestions of colors and tools to use. my brother was in town for the weekend and while we were hanging out i told him that the theme for the day [courtesy of the wheel of inspiration] was stencil. i handed him my container of stencils and asked him to pick one. additionally, i asked him to chose 2-4 colors that were near each other on the color wheel. he decided on teal/green, blue and purple. i then got to work!

the card for today - it's definitely one that'll be a day maker for whoever is on the receiving end of it! the inspiration wheel landed on 3D element for the second time in a couple days and i thought it would be great to use the fun foam again!

i pulled a few colors of ink and decided to use the same stamp over and over to create a pattern that i would then add a sentiment to. moving in rainbow order [of course!] i inked up the stamp, spritzed it with water and smooshed it onto the paper. i elected to use heavy weight cardstock instead of watercolor paper which changed the end result a bit, but i like it.
