#the100dayproject : handmade card 75/100-2 : missing you

the inspiration wheel landed on die-cut element so i pulled out a die-cut that actually arrived this morning! i've had my eye on it for what seems like forever and when it went on sale, i decided i needed to have it! it cuts out up to four different elements that can be used in conjunction with one another, but i only used two on today's card. i also used a handful of other newer products and therefore today's handmade card has a bunch of photos.

when i figured out how many days were left in this [crazy, unpredictable, insane] year i decided to do a second round of the challenge that inspired me so much.
i'm using an inspiration wheel that i designed to help me each day. last time i had a sketch book and a color combo book and i'm elevating the challenge this time around. i vow to use the theme the wheel lands on, but i can also add whatever i want to it. i'm also going to keep track of the results, because i'm also a weirdo like that.

so. much. rainbow. happiness. i absolutely love it. there's a space between the large gold ampersand and the black frame with my bargello project that i think would be perfect for a painting. [then of course i'll have to add in another detail so i have an odd number, but anyway...]

before all this covid-19 business, i was scheduled to be in ventura beach california this week for the craftcation convention. since i obviously couldn't go, i was feeling more than slightly bummed. one of the workshops that i was really looking forward to taking was a bargello class, so last week i treated myself to a kit from this website, that i might now be slightly obsessed with. this is what i ordered and what i'm currently working on - but not in these colors! [i'm waiting to share those details until i have a little more completed - so stay tuned to instagram!]
