i overlapped several shades of distress ink, including faded jeans, seedless preserves, chipped sapphire and hickory smoke. i used a mask for the moon and then i used the negative and fossilized amber ink to color it in. tiny iridescent stars are added to small star sequins and i think they compliment the saying really well.

i'm super happy with the way that this turned out and i think my daddio was too! i made the envelope out of black cardstock and sealed it with my wax seal because it's one of my favorite things to do!

i started the front of the card with a white panel that i decided to stencil. i masked off sections of the stencil creating a bit of diagonal design line down and across the panel. beginning at the top i used squeezed lemonade distress ink and gently applied color. as i moved down the stencil i intensified the color and near the bottom i added some mustard seed. using black ink i stamped the sentiment "have a happy day" which is a fun pixelated font.
