today's card is a little different than any i've made before and i haven't yet decided how i feel about the end result. the inspiration wheel landed on die-cut element and some additional inspiration/motivation came from helping a friend pack up her moving truck - so my thoughts steered me towards a miss you type card. [have i mentioned how much i'm going to miss her?!]

i was pretty jazzed when the inspiration wheel landed on pattern play today - i've been itching for a reason to use coordinating patterns. one of my favorite ways to do this is to utilize 6x6 paper pads. generally speaking, the colors coordinate and often share patterns/themes that mix well together. plus, the designs are smaller than traditional 12x12 pages so they look amazing on cards!

while i was crawling up and down stairs painting, i was scheming up today's card and i have to admit - and i know this is a bold statement - but this might be one of my favorite cards from this 100 day project. it just makes me giddy.
