it's day 20! each time i hit a day ending in 0 i get excited because that means it's another row completed in my compilation of all 100 cards. i'll reveal the final collage at the very end of the challenge - so for now, let's focus on day 20!

i added the smiling, happy pineapple to the bottom right corner of the panel, using pop dots to raise him up a little for added dimension. i used black ink to stamp the sentiment "you're the sweetest" near the top left of the panel. then, the entire panel was adhered to a red-orange card base, coordinating with the color of the pineapple's maracas.

in one of the crafty groups i'm in, someone showed a card they created and used their finger to wipe the wax over the embossed area. i decided to try the same thing. i made four of these cards and i feel like several of them have more of the gold tinted wax than others. i tried to get it into all the nooks and crannies of the design before treating it with a matte finish protectant so that it wouldn't wipe off. i thought the red-orange envelope worked well.

today's turn landed on embossing and unlike the first round of the project where i had wedges for both dry and heat embossing, i decided to leave this one a little more open. i've also learned some techniques using stencils to emboss or deboss a design so i'm happy that i left it full of options.
