when i sat down to create today's card, i had the idea to find inspiration from something on my desk. i didn't know if it would be a color scheme or a line design or what, but decided to take a few minutes and just look around to see what spoke to me.

today's card was inspired by yesterday's card in the sense that i decided to utilize scrap pieces of paper from my stash. i also wanted to use a newer sentiment from the pretty pink posh set and as an added challenge to myself, i selected patterned papers that were all in the same color family. a few of them have other minor color details, but for the most part it's a monochromatic card.

it's always entertaining to me when i have an idea in mind, i start to execute it and then i screw it up beyond repair. especially when said idea is for someone else.

that's part of the story behind today's card, which involves a handful of different style elements than my typical go-to.

when i think babies, i think onesies. is there anything more adorable than tiny human clothing?! [aside from the actual tiny humans of course!] i'm using a die that i've had for awhile but have never used - and i have to say that i will definitely be using it a lot more in the near future. i have some serious ideas for different baby cards!

holy crap on a cracker i made it! only halfway, but still! i think i have only tried this challenge once and if i'm not mistaken, i got about four days in before i couldn't keep up. the "rules" [if you can call them that] say that it doesn't have to be consecutive days, but come on, it just makes sense!
