today's spin on the inspiration wheel landed on slimline again and i decided to try something a little bit different - but mostly in terms of inspiration! you know how when you think of something, randomly adds and sponsored posts start showing up on social media? [just me?] i pinned something on pinterest the other day in regards to boho rainbows and when i opened it earlier, my feed was flooded with whimsical rainbows in glorious shades of browns, tans, pinks, golds and dusty blues. i decided to use this as my inspiration for today's card.

i went with another holiday themed card and even though i tell myself i'll stop making them, i can't help it. i just love making special holiday cards. i'm a firm believer that you don't need to send everyone on your list a super special card, but maybe focus on those people you know will appreciate it, or those who go out of their way for you throughout the year. these cards can also become decor - just pop them in a frame or even place them on the mantle.

as i've mentioned over the last couple days, i have some things in the works coming up. two of these things are virtual online events that i'll be participating in during the end of the month/beginning of december along with a slew of super talented makers. so many shows, festivals and events have been cancelled and i feel like this is the best option for me to try and reach more people while sharing more handmade happiness.

the spin on the inspiration wheel for day 33 landed on all one company, ideally meaning that all the supplies i would use to create today's handmade card would come from just one company. i decided this was the perfect time to use some newer items in my stash and that i would add a card to a category i often get requests for: new baby! you will see that i ended up breaking my own rules and cheating a bit by using one supply not from the main company, but since i make the rules i decided it was okay. [anyone else think of who's line is it anyway? i often think about their catchphrase, "where the rules are made up and the points don't matter" - seems pretty fitting!]
