so. much. rainbow. happiness. i absolutely love it. there's a space between the large gold ampersand and the black frame with my bargello project that i think would be perfect for a painting. [then of course i'll have to add in another detail so i have an odd number, but anyway...]

side note - i was having a rough day the other day about wondering if making cards even makes a difference and was a little bummed about not being able to participate in so many shows this summer, which is something that i both enjoy doing and makes me a good amount of money. my good old bestie was right there to point out that my cards have the ability to make someone smile and make someone's day a little bit brighter. that helped to change my perspective quite a bit and so i channeled her while adding my favorite detail on this card:

the small row of hearts are die-cut from a shiny metallic gold cardstock to match as well. this card is pretty minimalist but i think it packs a major punch and i'm positive the recipient [who is super important to both jon and me] will love it.

i'm wanting to create as many uplifting and positive cards right now as possible. they're the types of cards i'm personally sending and i think that everyone could use a little happiness. 

today's card sentiment is featuring a message of encouragement to "keep smiling" in bold black ink.

monday numero dos of #quarantine2020 and today i'm sharing a card i dropped in the mail last week. 

it's pretty simple, but had a lot of heart going into it. last week was a crazy week for me as i'm sure it was for many of you. i didn't get a ton of creative time [although my list of things to work on feels like it is 381,6914 miles long!]
