speaking of having, today i have another handmade card that was inspired by this one i made the other day. i am loving this stamp set and finding myself reaching for it a ton! the inspiration wheel landed on color swatch and luckily for me, the result was one i could incorporate into this card i've had in mind.

a good problem for me to have is when cards sell out. a bad problem is when cards that are on all my promotional materials for two virtual events sell out before the event even starts! so...that being said, i'm recreating one of my favorite cards, which works out perfectly as the inspiration wheel landed on pattern play. this time i'm using a variety of colors with some mixed up patterns. and even though the cards aren't fully completed, i can still share some details.

the spin on the inspiration wheel landed on monochromatic for the theme of today's card and my secondary wheel landed on the color green. i thought the best option would be to create a holiday [christmas] card in various shades of green.

i overlapped several shades of distress ink, including faded jeans, seedless preserves, chipped sapphire and hickory smoke. i used a mask for the moon and then i used the negative and fossilized amber ink to color it in. tiny iridescent stars are added to small star sequins and i think they compliment the saying really well.
