so today i colored another little doggo image that i stamped and die-cut out. this time i made it look similar to hercules. i love using prismacolor markers. i don't have nearly enough of them but i so enjoy blending colors and making images come to life. while i'm not the best colorer [is that even a word?] i'm looking forward to trying some new techniques throughout this challenge!
there's just something about fresh fruit [i'm thinking pineapples, watermelons and all the citruses] that remind me of summer. the freshness, the juicy qualities, the vibrant tastes they all exhibit - i just love them all. i'm channeling one of these fruits on today's card.
today i wanted to bust out a nice and easy card so i used one of my favorite techniques - repetition! i'm always a fan of blues, browns and yellows together so i paired them up on this clean + simple card.
i think this card could be great as an everyday style of card, but also a reminder to find your happy place wherever you can. maybe it's coffee with friends or maybe it's a date to target or maybe it's just a walk in the park together. i know social distancing is so hard for everyone right now, but brighter days are ahead and this card can be a great gateway to getting together.
