day ten in round two - woot woot!
today's inspiration wheel landed on birthday and i was quite happy with that result. i've got a bunch of card ideas on my list to make and i'm in desperate need of stocking the online shop with birthday cards.

but back to the birthday card for today!
i decided to go with a simple color scheme - bright green, basic green and aqua with black and white accents. a smattering of polka dots in an assortment of sizes cross diagonally on the card front. a striped black and white candle accents the sentiment, "a birthday wish" which is stamped in black ink. the polka dots mimic the design within the word wish for additional detail.
black and white baker's twine grounds the design and is wrapped around the front panel which is elevated off of the card base. the teal envelope ties the entire card together.
