and just like that the weekend is over. i can't really complain - i had two great days at work and an incredible day full of support in the form of sales from amazing customers! my heart is so full.
today's spin on the inspiration wheel landed on stenciled again and after packaging up all the orders from this weekend, i knew i needed to pull together a quick card.
i busted out a stencil from mft that i hadn't yet used along with some distress ink oxide. every time i use this type of ink i tell myself i need to get more colors. it goes on like butter and is so creamy and the results are just fantastic. take a look-
it just makes me so happy! these all over hearts are awesome, i love that they're a little wonky and not all the same size or shape. i covered the front panel using picked raspberry oxide and then used a new stamp from honey bee to add in the sentiment.
"you're my favorite" is in sharp black ink near the center of the card and to create a nice balance i added some smaller black hearts around the front of the card in two different sizes. these stamps are from lawn fawn and i also love how quirky they are as well.
the whole panel is elevated off of the card base with foam tape - i just love the way it looks. it's definitely a clean and simple card but sometimes those are my favorite types to make!
i'm looking forward to a new week of inspiration! i'll be adding lots more items to the shop and i'm still working on some behind the scenes details that i can't wait to share. here's wishing you an amazing week!
