#the100dayproject : 2022 : 22/100 - you're amazing

the spin for day 22 of #the100dayproject once again landed on embossed and so today's card features a bit of heat embossing!

1cre8ivemess - you're amazing

this card was a little difficult to photograph due to the nature of the embossing and the shimmery cardstock that were used, but i did my best.

the top portion of the card front is covered in a patterned paper that features black and dark grey polka dots. i often think that busy papers with patterns like these can be a little overwhelming, so i try to use them in small increments. the top edges are rounded to add a softer feel to the overall card.

here you can see the shimmer of the shiny black cardstock that provides a barrier between the patterned section and the die-cut semi-circle. while slightly hard to see, the semi-circle does feature the faux stitching you all know i love. i stamped and heat embossed the sentiment "have i told you lately that you're amazing?" in a pewter powder. it provides a slight texture on the card front but is also super shiny.

to follow up with the question posed in the sentiment, i added this detail to the inside of the card:

this handmade card could be sent or given for any number of reasons and that's why i love it. i'm all about encouraging cards and day-makers as i like to call them. what's your favorite reason to send cards? i'd love to know!

to add to the repetition of the circular pattern and theme, i added a trio of small black hole-less sequins to the front of the card. they add a visual triangle and are a little something extra without adding extra bulk.

i'm convinced that this card will make someone's day a little brighter - i know it would for me.

today's 22 days down with 78 left to tackle - here we go!
